Amulets are more than pieces of jewellery. Amulets are consecrated, holy objects which bring to their wearer luck and health. Consecrated amulets are "rent" mostly from monks, even if they remain permanently with their wearer.

With amulet "Phra..." it concerns literally translated a monk's amulet and "Kring" describes a special amulet kind.
